Your Weekly Styler Shopper: Military Olive Classy Rough ft Anne Hathaway

Hi lovelies!

So I am going to get back into my regular posting schedule! The moving was done last weekend and it kicked my behind real bad. We have a lovely brand new place but hard part was we are on the 3rd floor. Yup this place got sold out real quick before they even finished constructed the buildings so we got the last one available. I recorded my last haul video in my last apartment that is in desperate need of some editing and will hopefully go up soon so watch out for that!

Valentines Day was meh for me not that I care alot about such events to me its about being together, having awesome dinner and dressing up but I was at work all day and then had class till 10pm. I picked up some delicious dinner on my way back from class so we enjoyed that in our apartment which to me still feels like some fancy hotel when I wake up in the morning.

So the last I posted my Weekly Style shopper we were goings nuts with oxblood and reds but guess what? We are making it big this season with Olive green! I am seeing it everywhere! And I couldnt stop oogling this Olive blazer from H&M. Lets hope when I go to the mall next its ready and available for me in my size lol. I wanted this look to be chic yet tough. The blazer and light weight tee brings in the chic part and the olive green, skinny jeans, tough boots and patch of faux leather bring out the toughness! Trust me people will be guessing all night who the mystery lady is that is dressed in such a daring outfit. This is one of the outfits I have done for my foot that I will hope to wear asap once the weather on the east coast gets warmer. Weather is kind of weird here right now we had 52 degrees today after snow yesterday and then we are going to have some more snow tomorrow and sunday…..crazy weather!

Weekly Style Shopper: Black and Red Lace Valentines Special!

Hi dahlings!

I had a break in blogging again but it was the first week of graduate School for me. Its interesting to be in class again and both of my classes have group projects which I guess is a blessing and curse all in one. You are dependent on others and have to meet up at certain points but then you have help if you ever are stuck or need ideas.

Anyway among the school starting, work still piled up at my job and moving commotion I realized I completely forgot we are in February and Valentines Day is around the corner. I always wore red on valentines day whether I was single or taken. I just love black and red combo and adding lace to it has been my fave way to wear the combo. Lace shoes just enough skin to draw attention and not be raunchy. It can be very vampirish looking but I have always had a soft spot for vampires growing up even way before the whole True Blood and Twilight fad. Actually Twilight turned me off the vampires a little bit.

Anyways I saw this dress at Love Culture and I was completely in love. It is the perfect style for this year as well since its a Hi- Lo Dress. It will keep your dates eyes on you all night. And if you are hanging out with your group of friends you’d still be the lady of the night! I prefer since its such a classic red and black lace dress we can keep the jewelry and shoes simple. I think the suede shoes will make it more lady like and classic vs plasticy looking patent ones. What do you think?

Weekly Style Shopper: Work is Important but so is Your Attire …Be fierce at your Job

Hi Sweeties,

This weeks theme for me was pencil skirts. Since I need new ones for my own job! I ran across this cute one at H&M and I feel its different due to the black waist band. Its not the typical grey or black. It’s actually both! I love the Polka Dot peplum top alot too and it comes with a cute belt! Totally worth buying!

I am not sure why but I have always had an obsession with pencil skirts they make you remain feminine but say I mean Business. Well at least in my head. When wearing such a busy top I think the jewelry can stay to a minimum but if you dont care you can take it up a notch by adding a nice bracelet or watch :) Also shoes don’t have to match what you wear they can be your rebellious pop of a different color. It says am not just another typical worker you think I am dressed head to toe in the same color scheme…wait wait..no I am going to surprise you at every turn :)

Your Weekly Style Shopper: Grey is the new Black this Winter Featuring Kim Kardashian

Hi lovelies,

I have always been a bigger fan of skin tight dresses and skirts but since a little over a year ago I have started finding true love in flowy, girly, loose dresses and skirts as well. When all of a sudden I came to a realization I don’t have any wide and belowy skirts or dresses in my closet. And ofcourse the skater skirt is currently being worn by every model, celebrity or even fashionistas everywhere.I found one that I am in love with on Asos and its currently on sale! I have the blazer I chose already in mint color in my closet and I love wearing it cause of its unique biker jacket type style. I also realized how shades of black, white and grey are everywhere!!! So hence this post came about as the Fifty Shades of grey cough cough come on I had to jump on the Christian Grey bandwagon :)

Today is my officially my first day away from work. It’s getting hard not responding to emails coming in but I am trying my best to atleast continue halfway through my break without touching any work.

Weekly Style Shopper : Geometric Patterns are all the Rave in 2013

Hi lovelies,

So here I was just browsing through the online world of shopping when I noticed countless geometric print dresses, skirts, leggins and it hits me that it was indeed all over the runway shoes and we are probably going to get overloaded with them this year! Geometric patterns can be a hit or miss. You can go tame or you can go completely clown like crazy with them. I found this dress on sale at macys for 20 bucks it is considered geometric pattern but I feel its more of a tame flower power style sheath dress. Ofcourse Gold is pretty big too this year so I decided why not pair it with these cute gold pumps and some gold bangles. What do you think about Geometric patterns are you planning to rock it this year?

Weekly Styler Shopper: Wintery Beary Furry Cute Featuring Audrina Patridge and Vanessa Hudgens

Hi Sweeties!

So this post was totally inspired by my Christmas present a warm fuzzy Animal Hat (Checkout my instagram for the picture of me in it) and the idea was to combine it with a cute Animal Graphic print top. I have seen it all..Owls, Wolves, Tigers etc but then I saw this Husky one at Love Culture!!! OMG i love huskies and plan to have one as a pet one day when my allergies are under control and my shots are all completed! I have to run to the store this weekend to see if I can grab it. I thought it would be a cute and fun outfit to go out in the snow or just on a cold cold day! People might look at you confused but you know you look cute and they wish they had your top and your hat! I wanted to add some color to this outfit so I opted for the lipstick Red Jeggings! You can wear whatever coloredskinny jeans or jeggings you have or if you opt for a black one thats cool too, deck it out with accessories!

We don’t always have to be ultra chic or rocker punk so why not lets be cute and furry for just a day?

Your Weekly Style Shopper: New Years Party Special!

Hi Dearies,

I know I had completely fallen off the wagon with my Weekly Style Shopper Posts since I was so busy with work these past month and a half. But worry not I am back and this time I have sharpened my skills further and I personally feel this outfit is by far my fave! For those of you who recently joined my blog or have fallen onto this post while browsing the blogsphere- Your Weekly Style Shopper is a segment on my blog where I share bargain outfits that I found online or in stores with you all, as well as give you an idea on how you can go about wearing a certain bargain item. I have recently also started adding pictures of celebrities wearing a similar color, trend or outfit as an inspiration for those who need it. Gives you a better idea of what the color or style looks like on a real person (not always the same but atleast the style genre we are going for) I try to keep the cost as low as possible but once in a blue moon I find something so  magical as the peplum top below that I couldn’t pass on it!

Anyway as the topic of the post already mentioned this weeks post is geared towards new years and what is better than wearing a peplum top and a flowy skirt which fall under some of the biggest trends of 2012. Worry not they are here to stay in 2013 with us :) I feel since the top is the star of the outfit we will keep the jewelry to the minimum. Depending on your comfort level you can do either nude or black sandals, pumps or flats.

Feel free to hit the follow button if you haven’t already to get more such deals and outfit ideas in the coming year 2013! Love you all :)

Weekly Style Shopper: Winter Classy and Chic featuring Miranda Kerr

Hi lovelies,

Today has been a complete mess of a day for me. After a quick trip outdoors I came back home to a horrible migraine. I have never had a headache so bad before. To make matters worst its my birthday tomorrow. We are planning to keep it indoors atleast I am right now since I am not feeling too well but I am not sure with my hubby dearest he seems to always have surprises up his sleeve! Anyhow ended up shutting off all the lights, taking painkiller, allergy meds, tea and some soda for caffeine…after a 2 hour long nap I am feeling a bit better but I guess creating this outfit its already doing wonders on me. It is just sooo winter chic the colors of the shift dress. I actually saw this dress in store and tried it on 2 weeks ago but I am not sure why I didn’t buy it right away. I guess I need to go back. Hey I deserve it as a birthday girl dont I? I haven’t figured out what we are wearing out to my birthday Dinner yet. I have quite a few dresses that are sitting tags attached for an occasion like this. I think its either going down during the week or next weekend because of my headache and I just wanna chill indoors with alot going on at work.

Anyhow I was fascinated to find Miranda Kerr wear a similar dress when I googled an ideal outfit picture for my post for today! VERY VERY CLOSE.  What do you think let me know :)

Your Weekly Style Shopper: Flowery Leggings for the Fall with Christian Siriano for Payless Booties!

So I know this post is utterly delayed! I have been in a different world this entire time. Alot of changes at work alot of pushing and shoving trying to fix things and people that wont cooperate oh well I am not sure if my reaction is making me more angry or laugh the situation off! Added to all this football season! Sundays are zooming past faster then a fighter jet plane!

Anyway so my obsession with printed bottoms continues I have come to conclusion that I enjoy printed leggings alot more then printed pants! Anyway I also found these Christian Siriano for Payless Booties that cost less than half the price of his shoes. Ofcourse I had to be obsessed with them!

All I am going to say is one of these items is already in my closet can you guess which one ?

Booties: Christian Siriano for Payless-$49.99

Leggings: H&M – $9.95

Top: Forever 21 – $19.50

Your Weekly Style Shopper: Leather is more than just black and a Jacket

So now that I have completely mastered the trend of leather tights this past week from wearing it with my football jersey to my sheer white button up blouse to God knows what all (Photos of the outfits to follow in the next couple days) and also my leather jacket…its time we move on to different colors of leather and different trends!

I fell in love with this pleated mini skirt from Forever 21 Unfortunately it isnt available at my local Forever 21 so I have to order online. I am torn between the camel and the blue! I mean how cool is a faux mini skirt in blue color and its pleated!? so unique! I just love how it has the perfect body and it will be bouncy! Helps you strut your stuff down the street without needing much help from you :) I have already bought the tope here shown in pink in a cobalt blue! Need to go back to the store to collect all the other available colors! It is the softest and comfiest top that I have bought recently. Most of the time I hate loose and flowy tops but I think this one is perfect to be paired with minis or even with tights given its length and flowiness.

Unfortunately it is already chilly on the upper east coast so I’ll be rocking all this with a pair of tights for those of you lovely ladies in climates that are still slightly warm you can rock them without leggings ..probably what I will be doing come spring time. I don’t if its just me but leather all gives me this feeling that I can kick some behind! POW POW POW…sorry got a little carried away there!

How are you rocking your leather this fall?
